He is Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering. He is Director of two companies and involved in Research projects in diverse fields like Material Inspection, Characterization and devising solutions in environmental field for removal of toxic contaminants, with low cost wastewater treatment.

He owns two patents. He has been involved in providing free services in giving guidance to rural innovators for development of their inventions.
