Passed MSc., from Kanpur University in the year 1992.Undergone various In-Service Trainings at State Level and National Level Training Institutes in Leadership Management , Good Governance, Criminology and Forensic Science & Right to Information Act, Reformation and Rehabilitation of Prisoners, Disciplinary Proceedings and Service Matters, Health and Medical of aspects of HIV-AIDS.
Started Career as Deputy Jailor by Direct Recruitment w.e.f: 21-03-1985 which is the starting point of Prisons Executive Service and reached the position of Head of the biggest Central Prison by dint of 30 years of Service. Dealt with hard core Criminals, Dacoits, Naxalites, International Terrorists.
Conducted various medical camps for the benefit of sick prisoners. Started a Carpentry Unit for imparting technical skills to Prisoners. Got donations from a Philanthropists to a tune of Rs.20.00 lakhs for establishment of RO Plant and also for extending financial assistance to the children of Prisoners for their Education. Developed and implemented procedures to ensure the safety of employees, prisoners and visitors. Implemented Global Security policies and guidelines relating to a prisoner's security. Ensured that all Computer Systems are properly protected from Virus, damage due to power fluctuation etc., Maintained very effective and good relations with local, State / Central organizations, NGO’s, etc., and took their help in the smooth running of the Administration. Received 5 Gold Medals for having stood best in the In-Service Training held at RICA, Vellore, Tamil Nadu from 03-07-1992 to 02-01-1993. “Best in Prison and Correctional Administration Medal", “Best in Laws Medal”, “Best in Public Administration and Personal Management Medal”, “Best in Subjects Medal”, “Best All-Rounder Medal”, Got Certificate of Appreciation from the Collector, Adilabad during the years 2001 and 2002 for the best services rendered to the Prison Department. Developed Prison Industries such as Manufacture of Steel furniture, Durry making, Bedsheets, towels, doormats, etc., and achieved record sales of prison products to a tune of Rs. 2.00 Crores. Implemented innovative methods in Agricultural activities and also introduced organic farming and achieved maximum agricultural production, achieved the highest milk yield. Introduced Solar Pump sets in Agricultural operations at Prisoners’ Agricultural Colony, Cherlapalli. On my suggestion and advice, petrol bunks have been established in all the Central and District Jails in the Telangana State from which the Department is earning huge profits.
